In my dream, I see a Grey Wolf & an Eagle dashing through a forest!

The Grey Wolf & the Eagle move as one and exit the forest together!

An Indian Prayer

O' Great Spirit,

Whose voice I hear in the winds,

And whose breath gives life to all the world,

hear me! I am small and weak,

I need your strength and wisdom.

Let Me Walk in Beauty, and make my eyes

ever behold the red and purple sunset.

Make My Hands respect the things you have made

and my ears sharp to hear your voice.

Make Me Wise so that I may understand

the things you have taught my people.

Let Me Learn the lessons you have hidden in every leaf and rock.

I Seek Strength, not to be greater than my Brother,

but to fight my greatest enemy -- Myself.

Make Me Always Ready to come to You with clean hands and straight eyes.

So When Life Fades, as the fading sunset my Spirit may come to You without shame.

Cherokee Wisdom

An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life.

"A fight is going on inside me," he said to the boy.

"It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves.

One is evil - he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance,

self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.

The other is good - he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility,

kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith.

This same fight is going on inside you - and inside every other person, too."

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, "Which wolf will win?"

The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."

being wild, gentle, playful, fiercely loyal, territorial,

capable of great strength, beauty, intelligence, and highly communicative.

Prayers to Wolf

Spirit Teacher, Wild One,

help me to find my own wisdom & strength within. 

Show me the proper way to honor my universal,

as well as my most personal family.

Lead me to the lonely places, that I may find what I need

in order to share what I know with others.

You are loyalty.  You are power.  You are deepest knowledge. 

Teach me strength & sureness of myself,

& guide me to a higher road where I may lose my fear,

& find new ways to aid in the Great Healing.
